The sale was carried out by ÖRAG in 2013 as part of a two-stage bidding process, whereby the properties could be acquired either as an asset deal or as a share deal.
The properties are mainly Wilhelminian-style houses. The new-build property, built in 1968, was extensively renovated in 1997 and is located in the so-called banking district in the immediate vicinity of Freyung in the inner city. The other four properties in the package are in very good locations in Vienna's 9th district.
