1080 Vienna
In addition to the refurbishment of all residential units in this property, ÖRAG's construction management was commissioned with the refurbishment of the façade, the inner courtyard, the stairwell and the replacement of the windows.
An internal staircase leads from the apartment opposite the town hall to the spacious roof terrace facing the courtyard with views of the Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg. In addition to planning the floor plan and dealing with the authorities for this unit, ÖRAG also took on the construction management for the entire adaptation of the apartment.
There is direct access to the U2 subway line in front of the building, and Josefstädterstraße with its diverse range of stores is just a few steps away. Restaurants are also well represented in the adjacent small streets of Vienna's 8th district.
Did you know that Friedrich Freiherr von Schmidt - who gave his name to the square - was not only an architect and cathedral master builder, but also a professor at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts?
